Maldives Anniversary Long Weekend

Three nights, an overwater villa and a dinner nobody else attends

About this trip

Three nights sounds too short for the Maldives until you realise the transfer is half an hour. Choose a North Malé resort and the trip becomes genuinely viable on two days of leave.

The itinerary carries only two fixed points — a sandbank dinner and a spa afternoon — because on a trip this short, anything more starts to feel like a schedule.

It is our most-booked anniversary package, and the one couples most often repeat.

  • Three nights in an overwater villa with direct lagoon access
  • 30-minute speedboat transfer, available at any hour
  • Private sandbank dinner for two
  • Two-hour couples treatment at the overwater spa
  • Anniversary turndown, cake and sparkling wine

Day by day

A working outline rather than a fixed schedule. Every day can be moved, and at least one is deliberately left empty.

Before you book

Important information

  • Prices are per couple on twin sharing and are indicative — final pricing is confirmed against live availability for your dates.
  • Peak periods (Christmas, New Year and long weekends) carry a mandatory gala dinner supplement set by the property.
  • Hotels listed are the properties we normally book. If one is unavailable we substitute a comparable alternative and tell you before you pay.
  • Standard check-in is 2pm and checkout is 11am. Early check-in and late checkout are requested but never guaranteed.
  • Carry a valid photo ID for every traveller. International trips need a passport valid for at least six months beyond your return date.
  • Speedboat transfers run day and night, so this package works with late arrivals that a seaplane resort could not accept.
  • On a three-night trip, request the earliest outbound and latest return flights you can — it can add most of a day on the island.

Questions about this trip

Is three nights really enough for the Maldives?
On a speedboat resort, yes. You lose almost no time to transfers, which is what makes short Maldives trips work or fail.
Can we extend by a night or two?
Easily, and the per-night rate falls slightly when you do. Tell us at enquiry and we will quote both.

Before you go

Best time to visit Maldives

November to April. The dry north-east monsoon brings flat seas, reliable sunshine and the best underwater visibility of the year. May to October is greener, quieter and noticeably cheaper, with short sharp showers rather than all-day rain.
